If you are looking for speed, the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS may just be the car for you. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 210 mph (338 km/h).
And to celebrate the launch of the special high-performance sport car, Porsche Design is releasing a special issue watch that is available exclusively to the new vehicle owners. The German car maker said: “The vehicle and watch are produced and customised in line with each customer’s wishes and are delivered together”.
The new GT2 RS is expected to cost around $293,200. It’s weighs just 3241 lb (approximately 1470 kg) at full tank (3.8-litre).
- Transmission: 7 speed automatic double clutch with manual override
- Power: 700 hp
- Top speed:210 mph
Porsche said the GT2 RS 3.8-litre engine is based on a power plant found in the current 911 Turbo S model. Larger turbochargers push increased volume of air into the combustion chamber in order to increase performance further in the GT2 RS. Optimum cooling is achieved at peak load with the aid of new additional cooling system that works by spraying water on the intercooler when the intake air temperature reaches a determined set point.
