Microsoft’s new Android Launcher allows you to connect your phone and PC

* The Microsoft Launcher offers full customisation and a feature called The Feed that allows you see everything from top news to important events

* The Continue on PC feature allows you to seamlessly continue what you are working on – whether it’s a photo or document – on your PC

Microsoft has designed a new Android launcher to bridge the gap between your phone and PC, so that your recent photos and more can all ‘Continue on PC’.

One of the benefits of Android OS is that it allows users to customise what is called a ‘Launcher’ that can be called when you press the Home button – a feature that isn’t available on the iPhone.

Just like on Windows 10, the new Microsoft Launcher allows you to put icons of your favourite people on your home screen, where they can be easily and quickly accessed.

The new Launcher offers The Feed, a feature that allows you see view your important events, top news, most frequently used apps, recent activities and favourite people.

Built based on Fluent design, the Microsoft Launcher also offers full customisation, so you can personalise your experience. In addition, it also offers ‘gesture’ support for advanced customisation of your phone environment to make it more productive.
