Video: Samsung mocks the iPhone X in a new advert for Note 8

Following the release of the much anticipated iPhone X on Friday, Samsung has released a new advert called ‘Grow up with an upgrade to Galaxy’ to mock Apple’s iPhones through the years.

Starting with a flash back to 2007, the video mocked the iPhone 3GS for its lack of storage. The video also went on to mock the iPhone 5’s poor battery life.

Moving through the years, Samsung slammed Apple’s 2016 iPhone for not being water resistant (at least without the aid of a popular phone-saving hack using rice grains).

The South Korean company then went on to taunt the iPhone 7 for its lack of headphone jack and Qi wireless charging. It is worth noting that both the iPhone 8 and iPhone X supports wireless charging.

In the video, the avid iPhone user eventually ‘grew up to a Galaxy phone’ by switching to Samsung’s Note 8 phone.

See the video below, do you think it’s good enough to convince you to make that switch from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy smartphone?
